There are only a handful of moments I can say without a doubt that I fell in love with Melbourne. The Billycart Race, or Eastment St Derby is one of them. Antagonistic to the Melbourne Cup, the Billycart Race was a semi-spontaneous and unregulated event, a stage for expression and most importantly it was extremely fun.A small testament from the past, these photos show the event in 2011-2012 and 2013 before it grew too big and got shut down.
